THE INITIAL GOAL WAS TO PLAY MUSIC FOR THE SOLE PURPOSE OF ENJOYING IT. TO WRITE AND RECORD TUNES THAT MADE THEM HAPPY\, PLAY SHOWS WITH FRIENDS\, AND ENJOY BEING IN A BAND WITH GOOD MUSICIANS WHO ALL REALLY RESPECT EACH OTHER. ROUNDED OUT BY GUITARIST MATT SULLIVAN\, TRUMPETER DAN MCCOOL AND SAXOPHONIST NATHAN BLASER THE SOUND AND STYLE TOUCHES ON ROCK\, POP\, YACHT ROCK\, AND ‘70S AM GOLD TO NAME A FEW. JUST AS THE BAND WAS STARTING TO PLAY SHOWS IN THE AREA\, THE PANDEMIC STOPPED THEM IN THEIR TRACKS. THEY MANAGED TO STICK TOGETHER\, SHARING IDEAS AND PIECING TOGETHER A FEW DEMOS THAT LAID THE GROUNDWORK FOR A FULL-LENGTH ALBUM. RUIN THE NITE’S DEBUT LP\, SOUND THE ALARM\, WHICH WAS RECORDED BY DUGGAN AT HIS HOME STUDIO\, BLUE BANSHEE IN BREWSTER\, MASS WAS RELEASED ON NOVEMBER 11\, 2022.
