A Tribute to Bruce “Link Montana” Maclean
This happy hour is dedicated to Bruce Maclean. A group of independent musicians gathers to honor the life and legacy of Bruce Charles Maclean—known to many as Link Montana. A true Cape Cod original, Bruce was a gifted musician, a local legend, and a beloved friend whose presence lit up our patio every time he entered it.
For over four decades, Bruce shaped the sound of the Cape Cod music scene through his work with the Cyclones, the Roamin’ Catholics, and countless others. Whether he was performing onstage, biking to Nauset Beach, or filming music videos with a sparkle in his eye, Bruce lived and breathed creativity. His humor, heart, and signature style left a mark that won’t fade.
Spearheaded by Liam Hogg and Sarah Swain, with contributions from many others who were touched by Bruce’s music and spirit, this tribute is more than a performance—it’s a celebration of a life lived fully and loudly. We come together not as a band, but as a community of musicians, playing the songs Bruce wrote, loved, and inspired.
