Fred Clayton was born in 1958, in Birmingham, Alabama. At the Age of 11 he moved to Boston, Massachusetts, where he started studying music at the Elma Lewis School of Fine Arts. Later, he moved to Western Massachusetts where he met his inspirations; Archie Shepp, Marion Brown, Steve McCraven, and Avery Sharpe.
Undercover has been rehearsing its breakout show for several months just south of Boston in a private studio space and is excited to announce the newest addition to the crew, Mark Pollock.
